Nov 30, 2023 · I’m playing as France, just recently got voulgiers, and I’m confused at why they even exist. Their stats look terrible and they come AFTER Armored Sergeants who are just better in every way. Their bonus as anti-cavalry mean nothing as the sergeants have the bonus too.

Oct 17, 2021 · Voulgiers are powerful lads making smashy-smashy with enemy infantry and cavalry. People do stuff differently but a useful idea might be to have a line of shielded sergeants with Voulgiers behind them, so as to protect the heavy hitters from ranged weapons.
