Medi-Cal Access Program (MCAP) is administered through the Department of Health Care Services. MCAP provides low-cost comprehensive health care for pregnant persons for the duration of their pregnancy and up to 365 days post-partum.

The fastest way to find out if you are eligible for MCAP is to call MCAP at (800) 433-2611. You can call Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can also call Covered California at (800) 300-1506 or apply online.
