As Ash tries to rein in Ponyta, it is revealed that Team Rocket spooked the Tauros and Meowth spooked Ponyta that led to Lara's incapacitated state, at the request of Dario. Dario intends to win the competition by any means necessary, while Team Rocket seeks to make money from the Laramie fortune.

Sep 29, 2024 · A hot-headed Ash decides to race with Ponyta in Lara's place to save her reputation. Ponyta shows his agreement by flipping Ash onto his back, and Ash demonstrates his riding ability (or lack thereof) by falling right off again.

Ash borrowed Lara Laramie's Ponyta when she couldn't qualify due to her having a broken arm. During the race, it evolved into a Rapidash and it became faster, winning the race for Ash and defeating Dario's Dodrio. Rapidash's only known move is Fire Spin.

Ash and Goh see a Morelull and chase after it, while Chloe notices a Galarian Ponyta and follows it. Goh has his Cinderace block Morelull's path and successfully catches it. They then realize that they've gotten separated from Chloe.

Outraged at Dario's trickery, Ash offered to ride Ponyta in the Fuchsia Free-For-All Race in Lara's place. During the race, Ponyta evolved into Rapidash under Ash's care. Pokémon

Jan 16, 2025 · Ash temporarily commanded a wild Cottonee to help him win over a love interest. With Ash's assistance, he was able to learn to dodge attacks and aim his attacks better. Cottonee's known moves are Cotton Spore, Cotton Guard, Razor Leaf, and Energy Ball.

Jan 23, 2025 · Ash used it in the Big P Pokémon Race while it was still a Ponyta. Ponyta eventually evolved into Rapidash near the end of the race, subsequently winning it. In Mewtwo Strikes Back, Neesha's Rapidash was captured and cloned by Mewtwo. The Rapidash clone reappeared in Mewtwo Returns.
