If each of your cabs is 8 ohms, the impedance seen by the amp with parallel connection will be 4 ohms. Super box like a Helix, Kemper, Axe etc., or a pedalboard ending in a pedal that can go to an amp or PA, like the Tech21 Character series or FlyRigs.

Jun 16, 2016 · All the amps will have static, both tube and solid state. The amp in my practice room is a Fender Super Champ XD, which I guess leans towards a tube amp. My main amp is a big 100w Fender Twin with tons of headroom. The static still shows up on that amp too, which is why I don't think amps are the problem.

Oct 15, 2014 · guitar amps are very directional so if you can put something in front to block the "death ray" you'll solve just about all of your amp volume problems. i find that the trick is to put the shield far enough in front of the amp that you as the player still see the unobstructed speaker from where you stand. do that and it'll sound mostly the same ...
