Roaming wild in SE Oregon with the Steens ‘Hollywood’ herd. We call them the “Hollywood herd” as these bands of mustangs tend to favor the frontcountry of the HMA and can be fairly readily seen from the loop road - bands we have seen over the last decade here tend to favor this region. Most of the year we see individual bands (family & bachelor), but this time of year we tend to see several (not all) bands come together into one big herd.
