(CNN) — The Customs and Border Protection Agency is cracking down on smuggling… of eggs! As egg prices in the U.S. reach record highs, some individuals are trying to slip their eggs across the border.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is reporting a 29% increase in egg smuggling attempts from Mexico as egg prices skyrocket in the U.S.
