While the hub will live in the Robinhood app, the “contracts” are being made available by Kalshi, which is technically a federally regulated exchange under the Commodity Futures Trading Commission—but has also drawn ire from that very same agency for allowing people to bet on the outcome of elections.

Trading platform Robinhood on Monday launched a prediction markets hub in its app that allows customers to trade on event outcomes, including the expected upper limit of the Federal Reserve funds rate in May.

The investing app will offer a predictions market hub. Early offerings include bets on March Madness and the direction of interest rates.
