A flood watch is in effect for several counties, with expectations of 4-6 inches of rain and possible severe storms. The weekend is predicted to be warm and humid, with isolated storms lingering into Saturday morning and a mix of clouds and occasional showers.

The possibility of severe weather remains in the forecast for Alabama both on Sunday and Monday. Tornadoes, damaging winds, hail and heavy rain will all be possible on both days, according to the National Weather Service.
