GRAPEVINE, Texas - A driver was killed early Friday morning after a Jeep crashed into a tree and caught fire in Grapevine.

The crash happened around 2:15 a.m. Friday in the 2500 block of Mustang Drive, according to a police news release.

Parts of Mustang Drive were closed Friday morning while police examined the scene. The accident is under investigation.
