Sep 2, 2014 · You're right. I think Anna heads back to Arendelle but Elsa stays behind. [Speculation] Then Elsa finally heads to Arendelle and does something to heal Anna. Also, the Life's too Short video shows Elsa with the braid down which makes me think Life's too Short was done after Let it Go because Let it Go was the portion where Elsa lets her braid down.
Let's be honest, making Elsa evil would have been a disaster
But in this fanfic, she is more of a misunderstood and redeemable anti-hero. Kind of similar to canon Elsa but more antagonistic. I personally love the concept of evil or villain Elsa but I do agree that the movie wouldn't be as successful if she was portrayed as evil like intended.

Oct 17, 2022 · It's called onion Elsa because the haircut reminds of an onion. It's an Elsa design from the production period where Elsa was still a redeemable villain but Anna and Elsa were already sisters (they started out unrelated). It was a pretty serious design, she's even appearing (very briefly) in this early version of a quite well known scene.

I guess the intended spiky-haired Elsa (blonde) was misunderstood rather than evil, (sympathetic villainy) She was also supposed to redeem herself thanks to Anna and Olaf. the power of love vs fear is still there (So I don't think 'evil' Elsa will make everything 'worse') I would say she's more of a 'dark' Elsa.

Then they had the idea to have the sisters separated by rooms not just having Elsa be aloof to Anna (see life’s too short-galt you swine-Dressing room scene).
