Cyw (Welsh for "Chick", Welsh pronunciation:) is the name of a Welsh-language children's television block from S4C (Channel 4 Wales), which launched on 23 June 2008.

The S4C popular pre-nursery children's service Cyw is launching an exciting new app, with more games, stories, songs and fun things for children to explore than ever before. The app will feature the popular characters at the heart of the Welsh-language Cyw service, such as Llew, Bolgi, Jangl, Deryn, Plwmp and of course Cyw herself.

Llew. Llew loves his mane, users can display flowers from Cyw's garden here by dragging them to the pot. Jangl. Jangl adroes her shed, you can win patterns and furniture to decorate it by playing the app. Why not have a go on her racing car, or jump on her counting stones?

S4C Cyw is a Welsh-Language preschool service, which airs on the mornings of S4C. It currently airs the Welsh dub of Numberblocks, and the welsh dub of Colourblocks. However, it's unknown if it will air a dub of Alphablocks.

The animated series, Cyw a'i Ffrindiau, stars the lovable little characters at the heart of the Cyw service; Bolgi, Llew, Jangl, Plwmp, Deryn and Cyw. And now a new friend has joined the crew - a three-legged dog called Triog.

Cyw is a Welsh language children's television block from S4C. Primarily aimed at children from 3 to 6 years of age, featuring the characters Llew the Lion, Plwmp the elephant, Deryn the small fushia-coloured bird, Jangl the giraffe, Bolgi the bulldog and of course Cyw the white chick.
