Jun 6, 2024 · Combat - not only is the block/repel patched out, but if you want, you can play Yakuza Kiwami 2 with Yakuza 5 and 0s fighting styles. It plays vastly better (because Kiwami 2's fighting style is shit), and there's tons of moves to mess around with. Cons are that its a bit more glitchy this way.

Nov 18, 2023 · Yakuza: Like a Dragon is also a fine answer if you'd rather play a turn based RPG. They're the two best jumping in points. Yakuza 0 is chronologically the first game and is intended to be the starting point for players to experience the whole series. It's also the (joint) best game (imo) so it's an easy choice.

Jan 17, 2023 · I played through Yakuza 3 on easy and just focused on the main story, besides the substories related to the orphanage. I had a good time with it! The combat is the worst out of any game I've played, but I liked the atmosphere in Okinawa, and the story and characters are pretty great, even if the story is a bit over-the-top silly at times.

Jan 9, 2025 · Goofiness aside, this game does look a lot like what people wanted from Ubisoft for a standalone Pirate game. I wonder how many new players Sega is gonna catch with this one, and then they may get interested in knowing more about this funny Majima fella and play Yakuza 0.
